In order to assist you in registering for the 10th Annual National TAP Conference, we are providing you with this summary of FAQs for your reference. We hope that you will find it helpful!


Q: WHERE DO I GO TO FIND THE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FORM?

A: Due to overwhelming interest in the TAP Conference, registration has closed early. For requests to be put on a waiting list, please contact NIET staff at (310) 570-4860.


Q: IS ONLINE REGISTRATION THE ONLY METHOD I CAN USE TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE?

Q: MAY I USE MY CREDIT CARD TO PAY FOR MY CONFERENCE REGISTRATION?

A: Due to overwhelming interest in the TAP Conference, registration has closed early. For requests to be put on a waiting list, please contact NIET staff at (310) 570-4860.


Q: HOW DO I MAKE MY HOTEL RESERVATION FOR THE TAP CONFERENCE?

A: Hotel reservations are your responsibility. Due to overwhelming interest in the TAP Conference, the event's room block at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is now full. For recommended alternative hotels, please contact Debbie White at 310-570-4860.


Q: HOW DO I GET A COPY OF THE CONFERENCE AGENDA?

A: A draft agenda of the conference will be available at a later date on the conference site.


Q: CAN I BRING MY SPOUSE?

A: The conference is for participants only. We regret that we cannot accommodate spouses at any of the conference meals or sessions, unless they are registered guests.


Q: WHAT ARE MY FLIGHT OPTIONS?
A: There are numerous flight options to get to the Washington, D.C. area. You have the choice of flying into Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). Please check directly with your preferred airline carrier, consult a travel agent, or browse these Web sites: Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, etc.


Q: HOW DO I GET TO THE HYATT REGENCY WASHINGTON ON CAPITOL HILL FROM THE AIRPORT?

A: Please visit the airport transportation page.


Q: WHAT TYPE OF WARDROBE SHOULD I BRING FOR THE CONFERENCE AND RELATED FUNCTIONS?

A: Casual business attire is suggested for all the conference sessions. Bring a lightweight sweater or jacket to sessions; room temperatures can be cool.


Q: WHAT IS THE TEMPERATURE DURING THIS TIME OF YEAR?

A: The average high is 56 degrees and the average low is 37 degrees.


Q: WHOM DO I CONTACT IF I HAVE PROBLEMS OR QUESTIONS WHILE I AM ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE?

A: The Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill staff will be eager to assist you with any situation that arises related to your hotel room, and TAP staff will be available at the TAP Conference Registration Desk to respond to conference-related inquiries.
